Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for and using Patrimo (the “Service”), operated by Patrimo.AI S.A.S (the “Company,” “we,” “us”), based in Colombia, you accept these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree to any of these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms form a binding legal agreement between you (the “User”) and the Company.

2. Description of the Service

Patrimo is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects to Claude, Anthropic's artificial intelligence model. With Patrimo, you can manage your personal finances conversationally through Claude.

The Service lets you, among other things:

  • Record income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
  • Generate personalized financial reports
  • Check your net-worth balance sheet
  • Run monthly accounting close-outs
  • Export your financial data at any time
  • Organize your finances with custom categories

The Service requires an active Claude account (Pro, Team, or free with MCP access) to work. Patrimo is not an Anthropic product; it is an independent service that integrates with Claude through the MCP protocol.

3. Registration and account

To use Patrimo, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Register with your Google account via Google OAuth
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your Google account secure, since it is your means of access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Pricing and subscription

Patrimo offers monthly subscription plans through Polar, depending on the tier you choose:

  • Available plans:
    • Essential — $2.40 USD per month
    • Standard — $6.45 USD per month
    • Plus — $12.60 USD per month
    • Pro — $25.00 USD per month
  • Free trial: 30 days free from the moment you register
  • Payment processor: Polar, acting as Merchant of Record (recurring subscription)
  • Billing: monthly, starting on day 16 after you register

During the 30-day free trial, you have full access to all features of the Service at no cost. The trial triggers no automatic charge: when it ends, you must choose and pay for a subscription plan if you want to keep using the Service. If you don't subscribe, your access is simply suspended.

Patrimo sells its subscriptions through Polar, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Polar is the legal reseller of the digital goods and is responsible for processing your payment, issuing the invoice, and collecting any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction. Your billing relationship is with Polar, while the Service itself is provided by Patrimo.AI S.A.S.

We reserve the right to change the price of the Service with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price will apply from the next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation and data deletion

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard at patrimo.ai/dashboard or by contacting us at legal@patrimo.ai.

When you cancel:

  • Your access to the Service stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Your financial data (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, categories, context) is kept for 90 days after cancellation, in case you decide to reactivate your account. After that period, it is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
  • No further charges will be made.
  • We recommend exporting your data before canceling, using the export_data tool inside Claude.

We do not offer refunds for partial usage periods. As a low-cost digital service with a free trial, no refunds will be processed, without prejudice to any refund policies Polar applies as Merchant of Record.

6. Patrimo is not financial advice

Patrimo is a tool for recording and organizing your personal finances. Under no circumstances does it constitute financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice.

The information Patrimo generates (reports, balance sheets, analyses) is based solely on the data you enter and is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. You should not make financial decisions based solely on the information Patrimo provides.

For important financial decisions, consult a certified professional in finance, accounting, or the relevant field.

7. Acceptable use

By using Patrimo, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for legitimate personal-finance management
  • Not attempt to access other users' data
  • Not reverse-engineer the MCP server or its internal protocols
  • Not automate calls to the MCP server outside the normal flow of conversation with Claude
  • Not use the Service for illegal activities, including money laundering or tax evasion
  • Not attempt to circumvent the Service's security measures or usage limits
  • Not record third parties' data without their consent

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the immediate suspension or cancellation of your account, with no right to a refund.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Colombian law:

  • Patrimo is provided “as is” (as is) and “as available” (as available), with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
  • We are not liable for financial losses that may arise from using the information Patrimo provides or from decisions made based on it.
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Reports and balance sheets reflect only the information you provide.
  • Our maximum liability, in any case, is limited to the total amount you have paid for the Service over the past 12 months.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep Patrimo continuously available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may experience interruptions due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance where possible)
  • MCP server updates
  • Issues in third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Fly.io, Anthropic)
  • Force majeure events

10. Intellectual property

Patrimo, including its source code, design, brand, logo, and documentation, is the property of Patrimo.AI S.A.S. All rights reserved.

Your financial data is and will remain yours. We give you the ability to export it at any time. When you cancel your account, we delete all of your data from our systems.

11. Changes to the terms

We may amend these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes:

  • We will notify you by email at least 15 days in advance
  • We will update the “Last updated” date on this page
  • If you continue using the Service after the changes take effect, you will be deemed to have accepted them

If you do not agree to the new terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or with the use of the Service will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Colombia.

Before resorting to legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication.

13. General provisions

  • Severability: if any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
  • Assignment: you may not assign or transfer your account or these terms to a third party without our prior written consent.
  • Entire agreement: these terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to the Service.
  • Waiver: our failure to exercise any right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
